busy week...

I've been appointed leader by my class for our group project.
I'm not really keen about it..but im glad i was the leader i guess..
I wouldnt have anyone else be a leader.
I've been spurring headaches every since.

With the mini collection coming up i really need the time to figure out my inspiration rather than managing stuff like group work. Tough job being leader....suddenly realise tat its not easy handling a class like ours.. probably thats why Sanjay had a tough time.

So our class group inspiration is existentialism, which basiscally is a group of people who has no school of thought and believes that men exist only for himself. This life is define by the decisions he makes and the way he lives it...not by fate/god/genes/environment/karma. To design a whole collection out of this....hope something beautiful and abstract comes from this.

Also an interesting note.To join Posse's Mr n Mrs Quek....Mr Woods and Woods is teaching us..Jonathan SEOW... eccentric small stature guy. Quiet and friendly....prior from being under his mentorship i really like his work. Simple clean designs with interesting details...i just wonder why did he come back to teach? i feel like hes observing us every second..sitting quietly alone and striking odd conversations.

My menswear is taking forever to do cos i really hate mens tailoring. did u know menswear is harder to design and harder to sew then womens?
FYI for the non fashion students out there.

So much things to do so little time. Crunchtime!
I hope we win Uniform design so i just add tat into the portfolio :))
